Some Latin words to live by....

Love to surf the web for one thing and totally go off course into a topic that gets your total undivided attention? ME TOO!!!!
In Latin they call that
"Post Hoc, Ergo Propter Hoc" or meaning "After this, therefore on account of it"
OR It refers to the logical mistake of claiming that one thing caused another to happen just because it happened first. Would I have written about these Latin sayings if I hadn't 'found' them on the web while surfing for drink recipes? NO...Therefore the saying has lots of weight!!
Most people have heard the saying "Carpe Diem" Or "Seize the day, put no trust in the morrow".
Also said this way, which I like the best, "Enjoy the pleasures of the moment without concern of the future" (Literally, "Pluck of the day")
My parents named their boat "Carpe Diem", and they did enjoy the pleasures of the moment. I can enjoy the memories of those moments with a smile in my heart. I guess that's a bit of Post Hoc, Ergo Propter Hoc too.......

Enjoy your day and remember "Amor Vincit Omnia", Love conquers all things.......
